Thanks, Dad. My crown had problems and nerves died. Conservative steps were taken, but that meant over the weekend more and more decay and pressure built up and pain level rose to near max levels. Narcotics helped, but pain broke through the drug effect. Emergency root canal has resulted in some relief, but only slowly. Meantime, periodic nausea from meds and pain add a special acidic touch to the whole experience. I'm confident that I am past the worst of it, now.
