How Fast Does Your Computer Surf? U-verse vs Comcast

AT&T recently installed their bundle of phone, internet, and tv service (known as U-verse) in my home.  Their signals are carried through fiber-optic cables and they promised fast speeds. For reasons of convenience my home computer was fitted with a wireless device to connect to the new network.  Below is a comparison of the download/upload speed of my home computer with the speed of my work computer which is direct-connected to the Comcast network.
U-verse wireless speed is shown in the picture above.  Comcast wired speed is shown below.
When I get a chance to pull the cat-5 wires through the walls I will connect my home computers directly to the AT&T modem/router and I expect I will see higher loading speeds.

Google's New Browser

I don't usually get all the excited about new internet developments, but Google's new browser is really great!  It is called Chrome, and I highly recommend using it.  At first it seems alarmingly simple and streamlined, but it turns out to be rather robust.  It is also quick to open, easy to navigate with, and does not lock up like Internet Explorer and Firefox have for me.

It is easy to download and set up.  Fifteen minutes from start to finish for me.  Just thought I would pass on my experience in case anyone in the family wanted to try something new and, in my opinion, better.
