Courtney, Walker, and Dad on Tower of Terror (no vomit)

The video is about seventy seconds of what I saw while riding the Hollywood Studio's signature thrill-ride, Tower of Terror.  For those unfamiliar, it is a pseudo-elevator ride that involved a multiple-story drop, uncontrollable fear responses, and much screaming.  Pause the video at the 34 second mark and the faces you will see most prominently are Courtney and Walker.  

Since you will want to know, I did not vomit during or after the conclusion of this ride.

So Much to Tell....

We have just concluded a Holiday family reunion that entailed having 24 of Audrey's family (RuthAnn, Burke & Sarah, Lyndsey & Doug & Addey & Avery, Ashley & Ned & Hunter & Emma & Izzie & William, Lani & Mauricio & Mauricio-the-younger & Michael & Alexander, Walker & Jenn, Audrey & Steve & Courtney & Belle) congregate at our home for RuthAnn's birthday, Christmas gift-sharing, and convoy to Disney for Burke's birthday & New Year's Eve celebrating.

As you can imagine, we have many pictures to show and stories to tell -- but not enough time just now to show-and-tell them all. Let me start with this darling picture of Audrey and Belle enjoying an ice cream cone together on the night that we arrived at Disney (December 28th).

It is easy to see in this picture how their eyes and faces are very similar. Also, they both seem to like ice cream very much!

Mid-Week Fun For the Girls

It was not the weekend, but they were acting like it was. Audrey and Courtney, Linda (Audrey's best friend) and Heather Siddoway -- those four wild women took off Tuesday afternoon and went to Disneyworld for two nights and a day.

Belle and I did not go with them. We went to see the latest Narnia moive, Prince Caspian... We are certainly glad to have avoided the Disney trip, because as you can see the girls seemed to have a miserable time.

Girls Going to Disney for Turkey Day

Courtney rides in the "way back", Belle owns the middle seats, and Audrey drives the three hours to Orlando and DisneyWorld. This has become the Turkey Day tradition for the girls over the past three years. Me? I think I'll eat Chinese food.
