Let It Rain

The ducks in our neighborhood enjoy the rain. It gives them a chance to get their feet wet and to have a drink of fresh water.

"Watch out, here comes a car!"

Belle liked the rain today because she got to wear, for the very first time, a really cool poncho!

Shiny Smiling Faces

This weekend Courtney and Audrey practiced their smiles for the many pictures that they will be posing for in the up-coming event of Walker and Jenn's wedding.










Courtney had her very own reason for smiling as she practiced her driving skills. She got her driving permit just over a week ago. [It was a kinda' funny story that she forgot to take her glasses with her for the eye test. She later confessed that she had been so concerned about being photo'd with her glasses on that it caused her to dismiss the urge to bring them with her.]














Belle wanted to practice her smile, also. She is looking forward to being a flower-girl at the wedding and has been rehearsing the spreading of flower pedals. She has also been rehearsing singing and dancing to the music of the Broadway play Wicked that we saw a couple of weeks ago (see our Dinner and a Movie webpage for the review). In her room with the door closed, Belle becomes Glinda or Elphaba, etc.
