Mid-December Christmas Activities

It was not easy for the four of us to all agree on the right tree for our Christmas celebration. I thought that maybe majority would rule, but Belle insisted on unanimous consent. Courtney later observed that our family quartet, that night, was composed of two opposers (A & B) and two compromisers (C & S).

The girls shared some laughs while waiting for our Stake Choir and Orchestra performance of excerpts from the Messiah. Audrey was one of four piano accompanists to the choir. If you look closely at Belle and Audrey in the picture above and below, you will see that they smile and laugh exactly the same.

The girls in our family are so pretty. Christmas time is family time. Put those together and what makes more sense than a family portrait whenever you get the chance? Loving these girls, and loving Christmas.

Christmas Day Bike Ride

Ruth Ann got a new bike for Christmas, so we went for a ride to test it out. She looked good on it, and she seemed to like it, so we will say it was a success.

I like both of these photos. I cropped the one on top, and I corrected the color in the one of the bottom.

Christmas Pajamas

New pajamas are a holiday tradition in our family.
This year the pajamas were not only new, they were quite different.
Courtney gets the credit, as she was the one that begged Santa for "Froggy footy" pajamas.

Holiday Meals with Friends

We sure have enjoyed having friends and family join us for the holidays.  The pictures do not capture our the joy of our experiences, but maybe these images can be humble reminders of the fun we had together...

Christmas Holiday

We had some great food and some great friends on Christmas Eve. Audrey and RuthAnn prepared several delicious dishes, and friends also brought tasty food. Steve tweaked the Frahm-family-favorite Barley casserole by adding water chestnuts, and he loved the outcome.

We were grateful that the girls feel asleep relatively early.

After the multiple-family gathering of last year, this Christmas morning seemed rather relaxed and easy.

All holiday I was surrounded by beautiful women. What a blessing they are in our family.

I Hate To Jump The Gun....

I hate to jump the gun, but there are only 66 days before Christmas! :-) There is a house near our church that has already put up and illuminated their Christmas lights. I love Christmas. I had so much fun last Christmas because Audrey's whole family was able to come and visit and we just had a great time together. I didn't post all the pictures that I had wanted to from that event, so I'm posting some now through the use of a collage-making program that I have recently discovered.

So here's to looking forward to the next Christmas, to looking back at last Christmas, and to using a fun software tool. By the way, the collage-making software is free to use and can be downloaded here. I found the program easy to understand and had created my first collage within minutes of downloading.

Christmas Ornaments 2008, Thanks to RuthAnn

RuthAnn was generous and gracious this past Christmas as she gave everyone a specially designed ornament to commemorate the family reunion. Each ornament was selected to fit qualities of the recipient. These will be perfect reminders of the fun we had this year.
