Today I was shopping and trying to remember the few items that I needed, so I started singing to myself "Swipes and wipes..." I was nearly out of deodorant and the family had but one roll of toilet paper for the our three bathrooms.
Swipes and wipes are what I must get,

And ...cool, bananas are on sale... I really like that lamp...do they have LED bulbs here?
Um, Swines and vines....no, um, sweeps and weeps.... crud.....
"Hey Audrey, what was I supposed to get at the store? Oh, yes, thanks. No. Okay, later."

I thought I was the only one that ever heard that song. My mother bought my brother and I that record when I was maybe 6 or so in 1956. I remember every word; I suppose that it's because there was so much less in my head at the time to crowd it out. Now it's not remembering where I put my car keys 5 minutes ago. It's great to know that there are other people who remember such things.
