Walker and Jenn's Florida Reception

Flowers, candy, and small parting gifts that contained M&Ms with Jenn and Walker's names on them. Also in the pretty little ribbon-tied envelopes was a tiny little card that said thanks for coming on one side and words of wisdom to the newly-weds on the other:

The food was delicious to eat, but almost just as delicious to look at! Audrey and others worked long and hard to make the appetizers: bite-sized chicken-croissants, tomato blossoms filled with chopped cucumbers, fruit-ka-bobs, cheese cubes with kiwi, vanilla and chocolate cakes, and a special recipe of tasty fruit punch. "Yummy" is the feeling, but the word seems too small.

We were so very grateful for the generosity of our friends. The Jim and Deidre Lovegren family were so kind and gracious to open their home to us and our friends for this occasion -- "Thank you" does not seem to be a big enough word. Aud's best friends Linda and Myra were real troopers, assisting in many ways large and small without hesitation. Jenn did her share by looking pretty and being happy. Walker ate food -- some things never change. :-)

This gathering was a very happy event and a great way to bring closure to the wedding chapter in our lives -- for now (Courtney is 15).
