Belle played her first soccer game on Saturday. Her team is pink and is named Cosmos. It was an exciting game for all the parents (we were mostly well-behaved). Belle actually scored a goal to tie the game at 4 to 4 (at this age they let games end in a tie, and nobody seemed really intent on keeping score anyway). Even Belle noted that she might not have scored her goal if the goalie had been paying attention -- the cute little pixie of a goalie was in the corner of the net playing with her long and pretty blond hair when Belle's kick slowly rolled across the line. But a goal is a goal, and Belle was very excited and energized after that play.

Congratulations Belle! We loved seeing the pictures of you and your team in action and reading the account of your exciting game. Also really liked the cheeta and butterfly pictures of you and Courtney. You looked so fierce in your cheeta picture you almost scared us.
