Walker called us last night and told us the great news that Jenn Gardner had agreed to marry him. He had asked her on the evening of Halloween (the day before calling us). That day marks the anniversary of their relationship which began on that scary night (Halloween, get it?) three years ago. He told the story of how he proposed and how she accepted and it all seemed very appropriately romantic. I'll leave the details for them to share, if they wish, except to say that they are apparently planning on a wedding in the spring/summer of 2008.
We are so happy to have Jenn as a new member of the Florida Frahm family. We are grateful to her for agreeing to marry our high maintenance son. And we are hopeful that the Utah Gardner family will be able to tolerate Jenn's choice in a husband.
Walker and Jenn -- CONGRATULATIONS! You have done an admirable job at your courtship and I am certain that you have the Lord's blessing as much as you have ours.

Congratuations to the Frahm and Gardner families and to the young couple. We'll eagerly await further word about the date of the wedding, etc.
It is very exciting to anticipate the addition of a new member to the family. We wish Jenn and Walker much happiness together.

Thanks for your nice comment, Dad. It is a joy and a heartache for me to see our babies grow up. When next we meet I would be interested in hearing if it was the same for you [joy when it comes to me, heartache with all the others of course! :-) lol! ]
